ELEVATING EVERY WOMAN’S ROUTINE (PART 2)

In part one of this article, we shared some helpful tips on body care, mindful shaving or hair removal, skincare, hydration and skin supplement. We will continue from where we stopped and hope that you will find these tips both helpful and informative as the previous.

1. Oral Care: Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing daily to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Additionally, schedule professional dental cleanings at least every six months to prevent plaque buildup and support long-term oral health.

2. The use of deodorant helps control body odor and prevent sweat stains. However, layering a roll on and deodorant spray, is more effective and provides longer lasting protection against body odor and sweat. Finishing off with your favorite perfume will leave you with a pleasant scent.

3. Nail Care: Whether visiting a nail technician or doing it yourself, regular manicures and pedicures (not to be confused with artificial nail applications) involve shaping the nails, removing cuticles, and softening the skin—promoting both hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.

4. Hair Care. Wash your hair regularly with shampoos and conditioners suited to your specific hair type. If you experience dandruff, opt for a targeted anti-dandruff shampoo to help manage it effectively. When your hair is in a protective style, apply nourishing oils to prevent dryness and maintain scalp and hair health.

5. Sanitary Hygiene. Menstrual care is deeply personal, yet it deserves our full attention when it comes to cleanliness and comfort. It’s important to choose products that work best for your body—whether pads, tampons, or period underwear. Cotton pads tend to feel softer and more breathable, making them ideal for lighter, regular flow, while bamboo options are more absorbent for heavier days, though they may feel a bit firmer.

Regardless of your choice, keeping things clean and fresh through regular changes is key—not just for hygiene, but for your overall sense of ease and confidence during this natural, recurring cycle. Keep in mind—there’s no need to feel overwhelmed by this list. It’s not about doing everything perfectly, rather, it’s about understanding that intentional hygiene and self-care are not burdens or luxuries, but they are valuable investments into your health and wellbeing as a woman. Elevating your hygiene routine isn’t about trends or extravagance; it’s about nurturing the body God gave you in a way that reflects honor and thoughtfulness. From exfoliation to hydration, from oral care to skin nourishment, each step is an opportunity to steward your health with excellence.

2 Corinthians 7:1 – “Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”(NIV)

In this light, personal hygiene becomes more than a checklist—it becomes an act of worship,a lifestyle of wellness, and a testimony of inner and outer care. There is more available to you than just the basics. You are worthy of that “more.”

I resonate much more with the fact that personal hygiene is not just a routine checklist daily, but a worship lifestyle to God.
God takes it so high that our life has to be clean for him to inhabit and at the same time smell the fragrance of his purity through worship.

        I am blessed 🙌 😇
